"The search method must rely on the people and the search process must constantly change methods to achieve high efficiency because there are shallow places but there are places where the mud is buried very deep...", General Khai requested. Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online, Mr. Sam Van Bong (an escapee in the flash flood) said that his family lived in the area at the beginning of Vang Kheo, where the flash flood first swept through and 5 people in the family were lost, including his wife, son and his wife, 38-day-old grandson and the youngest daughter. Currently, only the son and the baby have been found, but 3 relatives in the family have not been found. "Everything happened so quickly, I had just gone out to see the water with a few people for a few minutes when the mud and rocks came crashing down, rolling away everything. In just a few minutes, my whole family lost their wife, children, grandchildren, and house," Mr. Bong shared.

According to Mr. Bong, this morning he and some local people will continue to support the authorities in the search. According to the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), due to the impact of storm No. 3 and the floods after the storm, localities have counted the damage as of 10pm on September 11 with 326 dead and missing people (181 dead, 145 missing ).
