Specifically, according to the clip, a group of six friends were standing on the street taking pictures, without any buying or selling activities, when suddenly an ice cream seller yelled at them and falsely accused them of buying something without paying.
Even though the group of young people left, the vendor continued to follow them and demand payment. The group of tourists kept saying they had not bought any ice cream, but the vendor insisted that the group had "already bought it".
At this time, the young man said: "We have never bought anything, we really like Hanoi, what you did is affecting Hanoi, embarrassing Hanoi people".
Then, when he saw the group of young people holding a camera to film him asking for money, the street vendor immediately changed his attitude and said: "You're wrong."
The above clip has received public attention after being posted. Many people expressed disappointment with the street vendor's actions.
Regarding the incident, on the afternoon of March 20, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , a leader of the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem district said the district will investigate.
"We will transfer the clip to the District Police to verify and strictly handle according to regulations if the above incident is determined to be true" - said the leader of the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District.
