Speaking at the launching ceremony, Nguyen Anh Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Da District People's Council, said that in 2023, the Third Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation and Fighting Against Wrong and Hostile Views was actively responded to by Party organizations under the Dong Da District Party Committee. Thereby, it attracted a large number of cadres, Party members, and People to participate with more than 600 entries from grassroots Party organizations, socio-political organizations, schools, and People.
The contest has truly become a forum for cadres, party members, union members, youth, association members and the people to express their awareness, enthusiasm and high responsibility for the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views. The Steering Committee of 35 districts was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for their achievements in launching and implementing the contest.
In 2023, the district won 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, 1 Encouragement Prize at the city-level competition and 1 Encouragement Prize at the national competition. This is the basis for the district to continue to respond to the fourth competition with scale, quality and widespread spread throughout the entire political system.
In order for the contest to be implemented synchronously, systematically, uniformly, achieving high results and creating a wide spread to cadres, party members and people in the area, Mr. Nguyen Anh Cuong suggested that party committees at all levels, departments, branches, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations from the district to the grassroots level lead and organize the contest extensively, promote propaganda about the contest, especially propaganda on pages and social networking groups on Facebook and Zalo of each agency, unit, school, socio-political organization, each party cell, each residential group... so that a large number of cadres and people know, respond and participate.
Actively implement the contest extensively, substantially, creatively, effectively, and appropriately to the characteristics and situation of the agency, unit, and facility.
To improve the quality of entries, ensure diversity in genres and have many quality entries, Party committees at all levels and grassroots Party organizations pay attention to identifying the strengths of their units to select appropriate types of entries, topical issues that ensure the criteria and rules set forth by the City-level Organizing Committee.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Steering Committee of 35 districts and the Propaganda Department of the District Party Committee - the standing agency of the Steering Committee of 35 districts, based on the Plan of the Organizing Committee of the City-level competition and the District Party Committee, urge and provide specific instructions on the organization method and rules of the competition, organize well the training of skills, expertise and widely propagate in many forms to widely inform about the competition to a large number of cadres, party members and people of the district.
