On the evening of September 30, at the city's walking street, the Organizing Committee of the Phu Ly City Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Model Competition 2023 summarized and awarded prizes to participating units with the most beautiful, impressive and meaningful models. Comrade Nguyen Duc Toan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council and leaders of the Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union attended.
After launching the Contest, 21 wards and communes in the city registered to participate in the Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern models. Following the theme "Colorful Phu Ly" and the Contest Rules, most units have invested in building and designing models with many rich ideas, imbued with traditional cultural identity, evoking love for nature, homeland, love for work and the desire to contribute to the young generation.
Many units in the process of implementing the design and completing the model have the cooperation, contribution and participation of the team of ward and commune leaders, deeply demonstrating the concern and care of Party committees, authorities, and grassroots political systems for the work of caring for and protecting children. In addition, some localities, thanks to doing a good job of socialization, have attracted the attention of the community, contributing funds to implement creative, aesthetic models that are attractive to children.
Through many nights of model parades on Bien Hoa walking street before the Mid-Autumn Festival, wards and communes have brought a joyful, fresh and emotional atmosphere to the city's people, especially children. The models are all impressive, evoking deep associations about the universe, people, landscapes, folk tales, fairy tales, myths, historical legends associated with the existence and development of the nation for thousands of years, creating traditional cultural values, bravery and character, and the Vietnamese people.
The Organizing Committee awarded the Special Prize to the model "Chicken House for the Full Moon Festival" of Tran Hung Dao Ward. 6 First Prizes for the models of the following units: Liem Chung, Minh Khai, Luong Khanh Thien, Phu Van, Chau Son, Quang Trung. 5 Second Prizes for the units: Hai Ba Trung, Trinh Xa, Dinh Xa, Liem Tuyen, Tien Hai. 5 Third Prizes for the units: Le Hong Phong, Liem Tiet, Liem Chinh, Thanh Chau, Lam Ha. The rest are Encouragement Prizes.
The award ceremony took place a day after the Mid-Autumn Festival, but still attracted a large number of people from all walks of life to attend. The atmosphere of the ceremony was like a festival. The excellent models continued to be paraded on the walking street amid the enthusiastic cheers of tens of thousands of city residents.
