In Binh Duong province, The 2nd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2023 took place at the Night Market and Bach Dang Walking Street (Phu Cuong Ward, Thu Dau Mot City). The event is expected to last until April 24.
According to the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Duong province, this is the first time the province has organized an event with the participation of many book publishers in and outside the province. At the event, there are many promotional programs of 10% -50% on national and foreign books, stationery, school supplies, toys, souvenirs, masks, etc.
On the opening day (April 20), the event attracted a large number of union members, youth, students and people to visit, read and buy books at the display booths.
Mr. Le Van Khanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Duong province, said that the festival has the message "Books: Awareness - Innovation - Creativity" and "Books for me, for you". Binh Duong province has organized a variety of propaganda activities on mass media; visual propaganda; organized a convoy of propaganda vehicles on some key routes; mobile book carts serving at schools.
