By the end of 2025, the total production value of Muong Nhe district is estimated to reach 2,068 billion VND. The economic structure has shifted positively towards increasing the proportion of industry - construction and trade - services, gradually reducing agriculture - forestry and fishery. Specifically: agriculture - forestry and fishery accounted for 29.3% (down 3.15%), exceeding the set target; industry - construction 32.23%, reaching the set plan; services accounted for 38.47% (up 5.09%), exceeding the target.

The project to support the construction of Great Unity houses for poor households has been effectively implemented, with 511/511 houses completed. National border sovereignty has been maintained; national defense, political security, and social order and safety have been ensured. Security on the two borders of Vietnam - Laos and Vietnam - China is stable; friendly relations and cooperation with border districts continue to be consolidated and developed.
Regarding the work of arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus, by March 2025, Muong Nhe district had completed the arrangement and streamlining of the administrative apparatus, reducing the number of specialized agencies under the district People's Committee from 13 to 10 specialized agencies. The district has focused on reviewing, meeting, and discussing with officials and civil servants to guide the documents and promptly resolve policies for officials and civil servants who have retired due to the regulations due to the arrangement and merger. To date, 5 civil servants have retired according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP.
Members of the working delegation asked Muong Nhe district to provide more information on border security, ethnic security and drug prevention.
At the meeting, members of the working delegation requested Muong Nhe district to exchange and provide more information on a number of contents: Solutions to enhance friendly relations and cooperation with border districts on the Vietnam - China and Vietnam - Laos borders; results of solving the problem of spontaneous migration; solutions to ensure the ratio of teachers to classrooms and solidify schools; program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025; disease prevention work in the area; border security; national security and drug prevention. He suggested that Muong Nhe district must adhere to the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to have a new approach towards rapid and sustainable development; establish a new growth model based on strengths such as: border gate economy, tourism and forestry, in which the private economy is the most important driving force. Focus on improving the quality of people's lives through effective implementation of national target programs. Muong Nhe must link socio-economic development with ensuring national defense - security and foreign affairs. It is recommended that armed forces proactively and actively coordinate in performing the task of ensuring national defense and security according to the motto "Be proactive from early on and from afar, grasp the situation, share information, unify assessments, give correct and accurate advice, and handle situations promptly and effectively".
