On the morning of August 31, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity held its fifth meeting. Comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee; Hoang Thai Phuc, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and members of the Steering Committee.

Since the fourth meeting of the Provincial Steering Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee has held three regular meetings to provide guidance on the implementation of the Provincial Steering Committee's work program; directed the acceleration of investigation and handling of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee and agreed on a number of other important contents; and issued nine documents to lead, direct and urge relevant levels, sectors, agencies and units to carry out the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity, and handling cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee.
The propaganda work on preventing and combating corruption and negativity continues to be promoted in many forms. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department and the Department of Justice to propagate to 1,090 cadres and teachers who are principals, vice principals and accountants of the Department of Education and Training; in the three districts of Tien Hai, Thai Thuy, Kien Xuong and Thai Binh city, the Provincial Fatherland Front coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department to organize a propaganda conference for more than 300 delegates who are Fatherland Front officials at all levels on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
The provincial and district inspectorates have organized 10 inspections on the responsibilities of heads of agencies and units in implementing the law on preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Through the inspections, the provisions of the law on preventing and combating corruption and negativity have been more thoroughly disseminated to agencies, units and localities.
District and city Party committees have organized hundreds of conferences to disseminate to the commune level the content of the work: "Resolutely and persistently fight against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Regular dissemination in many forms has created positive effects among cadres, party members and people, enhancing the role and responsibility of cadres, party members and people in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
Along with that, the Provincial Steering Committee has directed specialized sectors to focus on urging and monitoring the implementation of asset and income control; effectively implementing the Project on Developing Population Data Applications, Electronic Identification and Authentication to Serve National Digital Transformation in the 2022 - 2025 period, with a vision to 2030; promoting administrative reform, implementing public services and administrative procedures in the electronic environment to contribute to preventing corruption and negativity. Cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee have been directed and implemented in accordance with requirements, achieving positive results.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial Steering Committee focused on discussing and clarifying some of the achieved results, pointing out the remaining problems and their causes; proposing solutions to speed up the settlement of 4 cases and 3 incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee and tasks and solutions to effectively implement the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the coming time.
The Provincial Steering Committee also agreed on the contents of the work program in the coming time according to the proposal of the standing agency. In particular, the members of the Provincial Steering Committee effectively implemented the assigned tasks; continued to promote the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and regulations, the State's policies and laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity, thereby creating self-awareness and high unity in will and action among cadres and party members; first of all, the exemplary and resolute role of the leaders, collective leaders at all levels, sectors, agencies, units and localities in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Effectively implement solutions to prevent corruption and negativity; fight to prevent and repel moral and lifestyle degradation among a number of cadres and party members; build a culture of integrity, no corruption, no negativity among cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees. Strengthen management, tighten discipline and administrative order, regularly inspect and examine public service activities, and resolutely and strictly handle violations.
Along with strengthening inspection, supervision and examination of specialized fields that are prone to corruption and negativity, and prominent issues that cause social outrage, the Provincial Steering Committee continues to direct the promotion of the detection and handling of corruption and negativity by various measures, strictly and synchronously handling Party discipline with administrative discipline, discipline of organizations and criminal handling of corruption and negativity. Strengthen supervision, handling and effectively preventing harassment, negativity, and causing trouble for people and businesses. Improve the effectiveness of handling petitions, letters, complaints and denunciations of citizens about corruption and negativity. Continue to review, include in the list of complicated cases and incidents that the public is interested in under the supervision of the Provincial Steering Committee and direct the final handling of them.
Also at the meeting, the Provincial Steering Committee discussed and gave opinions on the content of monitoring inspections, implementing conclusions and recommendations of the Government Inspectorate, inspections of ministries, branches, and the State Audit in 2022.
