On January 22, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity held a regular meeting to assess the situation and results of January's work and the key tasks of the Steering Committee for February 2025. Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity, chaired the meeting.
In January 2025, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity will continue to direct the dissemination and full and timely implementation of resolutions, directives, conclusions, regulations and guidelines of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Steering Committee and the province on the work of preventing corruption, wastefulness and negativity; focus on leading and directing the issuance of working regulations and annual work programs with very new contents. Along with that, focus on leading and directing the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections on corruption, wastefulness and negativity; direct the completion of 1 inspection, 1 supervision; direct the acceleration of investigation and handling of corruption, position, economic and negativity cases...
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity, requested that in the coming time, Party committees and Party organizations at all levels direct the serious implementation of new instructions from the Central and the province on anti-corruption, wastefulness and negativity; strengthen the work of anti-corruption, wastefulness and negativity to serve the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 16th Provincial Party Congress, in conjunction with urgently completing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the political system according to the policies of the Central and the province. Coordinate to implement drastically and comprehensively, creating new changes and breakthroughs in anti-wastefulness work from the province to the grassroots level; urgently review projects and works that are behind schedule, backlogged, prolonged, ineffective, causing great loss and waste, proactively propose to put a number of serious waste cases that the public is interested in into the list of the Steering Committee for monitoring and direction.
Along with that, continue to effectively implement solutions to prevent corruption, waste, and negativity; regulations of the Politburo on strengthening control of power, preventing corruption and negativity, on education on thrift, integrity, and uprightness among cadres, party members, and the people; build a culture of integrity, no corruption, waste, and negativity. Proactively inspect, supervise, investigate, strictly and thoroughly handle serious and complicated corruption, waste, and negativity cases and incidents that are of public concern, especially cases and incidents related to personnel of Party Congresses at all levels.
