(CLO) On the morning of January 23, at Lang Son Provincial Library, the Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with Lang Son Newspaper, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Lang Son Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize the opening ceremony of the Lang Xuan Newspaper Festival 2025 and an exhibition displaying achievements of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
This meaningful cultural event is not only an opportunity for journalists to meet and exchange, but also an opportunity for the public to access unique press publications, to learn more about the development of Lang Son press in particular and the press of the whole country in general. The press festival is also a cultural highlight, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of Lang Son people every spring.

Colorful cultural space
The Lang Son Spring Press Festival 2025 was organized with 8 exhibition booths (Provincial Journalists Association, Lang Son Newspaper, Provincial Literature and Arts Association, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Provincial Library and Central press agencies residing in the province including: Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency, Tien Phong Newspaper) attracting the participation of many press agencies, journalists, reporters and the public who love newspapers.

The exhibition space is solemnly and beautifully decorated, introducing press publications with diverse content and form, from traditional printed newspapers to modern electronic newspapers.
The carefully selected and unique publications include spring newspapers, New Year newspapers, magazines, journals, books, and photos introducing the whole picture of Lang Son press in the early spring of the new year, promoting the results and achievements in socio-economic development, national defense, and security of the country and Lang Son province in 2024.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Dinh Hom, Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial Journalists Association, said: “The Lang Son Spring Press Festival is a traditional activity of great significance in the province’s press life. This is an opportunity for journalists to look back on a year of work, exchange experiences, and improve their professional skills. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Lang Son press to introduce its achievements to the public, strengthening the close relationship between the press and the people.”

Also at the Lang Son Spring Press Festival 2025, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and commended the achievements that Lang Son press and central press agencies have achieved in the past time. At the same time, he hoped that the team of journalists would continue to promote their sense of responsibility, constantly improve the quality of their activities, and meet the increasing demands of the public.
