The second match between athlete Le Dinh Duc (Minh Phuc Nam Dinh Club) and Bui The Nghia (Viet ED Club) was also quite evenly matched.
In the final of the amateur men's team event, there was a competition between the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group Club and the Hoa Chau Ha Dong Club. These are two very strong amateur table tennis clubs today. After 5 rounds of matches, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group Club finally won 3-1 against the Hoa Chau Ha Dong Club to win the championship.

French tennis player Chryss Migliore won the silver medal in the amateur men's singles (under 45 years old) and shared: "During my trip to Vietnam, I accidentally learned about the tournament and registered through my friends. I joined the tournament in the spirit of exchange and learning. After competing and watching the matches, I saw the enthusiasm as well as the fierce fighting spirit and high level of expertise of the players at the newspaper's table tennis tournament."
Sharing his feelings after winning the advanced men's singles, national player Nguyen Duy Phong, playing for Thai Ha Club, said: "I feel very happy because I won the championship. In today's final match, I competed with Nguyen Duc Tuan, a high-class athlete. I tried my best and won. The Hanoi Open Club Table Tennis Tournament is an amateur tournament, but it was organized very professionally."
