This year's Tourism Week will have many new and unique features such as the agricultural ceremony to welcome the new rice with 63 boats carrying agricultural products, the experience of boating on the river, etc. In particular, the opening ceremony will take place at Dong Gung bus station, Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area with the participation of many famous singers.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung emphasized that Ninh Binh Tourism Week is an important event, contributing to promoting the image of the nature and people of the ancient capital, stimulating tourism demand in the low season, and at the same time positioning the Ninh Binh tourism brand on the domestic and international map. Therefore, the organization of the event must both honor the cultural, historical and human values of the ancient capital and ensure absolute safety for delegates, people and visitors when attending.
Up to this point, many important tasks have been effectively and responsibly implemented by the units. The Department of Tourism has coordinated to develop scenarios and prepare conditions for organizing experiential programs associated with agricultural rituals; propaganda work has been widely deployed;
Develop a thoughtful plan to welcome delegates; deploy the installation of stages and stands for the Opening Ceremony; complete the plan to install LED screens at Tam Coc wharf to serve people and tourists watching the program. Determining that the number of visitors to the Tourism Week, especially during the Opening Ceremony, will be very large, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 requested departments, branches, units and enterprises to continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, perform well the assigned tasks to ensure the event takes place impressively and successfully.
In particular, the police force, local authorities and businesses continue to review plans to ensure traffic safety, security and order, fire prevention, minimize the risk of accidents and avoid property damage to tourists, especially in parking lots.
Hoa Lu District People's Committee continues to direct communes to ensure environmental sanitation, strictly implement culture and tourism civilization, and prevent the situation of soliciting tourists.
The Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Health, Ninh Binh Electricity, and related units have fully prepared the conditions for the opening ceremony to take place safely and successfully. In addition, it is necessary to promote information and propaganda work on social networking platforms before, during and after the event, and at the same time widely inform the people and tourists about traffic diversion plans to ensure traffic safety, etc.
The Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 also agreed that the opening ceremony rehearsal will take place on the evening of May 31, 2024.
Ninh Binh Tourism Week is an annual, unique tourism product of Ninh Binh province, and is also one of the activities in response to the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee organizes Tourism Week to promote and introduce Ninh Binh's tourism products and services to domestic and international tourists, and affirm the Ninh Binh tourism brand as a unique, safe, friendly, quality and attractive destination; stimulate demand and attract tourists to Ninh Binh in the low season.
