Many 'foreign' breads are present in the Vietnamese bread feast

On the evening of March 21, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Vietnam Bread Festival (HCMC) took place at Le Van Tam Park (District 1).

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh - President of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, the 3rd Vietnam Bread Festival is not only a place to enjoy but also to honor the culinary culture of Vietnam on the world map. Therefore, in the activities that will take place throughout the 4 days, visitors will witness a bread feast with many types of bread from many countries.

Attending the bread festival, Ms. Elodie (a French tourist) shared that she had eaten many types of bread such as baguette, sandwich, burger, but Vietnamese bread has a crispy crust, delicious filling and interesting side vegetables.

Not only does the Festival attract visitors with its diverse and delicious bread, it also impresses visitors with its welcoming gate decorated with 1,100 loaves of bread, including real and model loaves.

Or the boat displaying 100 dishes with bread made from aquatic and seafood ingredients; the space for bread from the past and present; the bamboo road experience area with animal models, animal-shaped bread...

According to records, there are 141 booths of bread production and trading units. Bread baking lines at the oven of Asia Confectionery Joint Stock Company, or a bread feast with over 300 dishes served with bread with coffee, water and Vietnamese tea at Trang bread booth, or fresh bread suitable for young people from the Sugar Town brand... serve the people and tourists to experience during the 4 days of the event.

This bread festival also presented 14 start-up bread trucks to 2 representative units of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Hau Giang Women's Union. This is an activity to inspire start-ups.

The new guests witnessed the signing of the agreement between the Vietnam - Australia Trade Promotion Center and the Vietnam Bakery Association on organizing a bread festival in Sydney.
