What benefits do relatives of students of the two Naval schools enjoy?

On March 21, the Navy announced that in 2025, the Naval Academy will be assigned 208 enrollment targets and the Naval Technical College will be assigned 545 enrollment targets. This is an opportunity for young people to study, train and work in the Vietnam People's Navy.

The Naval Academy trains in 6 majors: Maritime Science; Naval Command and Staff; Control and Automation Engineering Technology; Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology; Mechanical and Dynamic Engineering; Electrical Engineering.

The Naval Academy is the training and scientific research center of the Army and the Service, with the task of training and fostering Army officers at university and postgraduate levels.

The Naval Academy has been invested in and built in the direction of a smart school; constantly developing in terms of organization, staffing, qualifications, scale, technical equipment and weapons, enhancing international integration, to improve the quality of training and fostering of cadres, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The Academy is a multi-level, multi-disciplinary training facility, focusing on training cadres and officers in naval military science and technology, including 6 majors with 12 training majors.

Candidates who pass the Naval Academy with good academic results are selected to study abroad in countries such as Russia, India, China, the US, and Australia. The learning process is practiced on modern equipment and simulation systems.

Graduates are awarded university degrees (engineer, bachelor), become officers and are promoted to the rank of second lieutenant or first lieutenant, receive salaries immediately after graduation and are assigned to work according to the requirements of the Army.

Candidates register and take the national high school exam with a combination of subjects to enter the Naval Academy including: (A00) Math, Physics, Chemistry and (A01) Math, Physics, English. With more than 45 years of operation, the Naval Technical College has successfully completed its training mission, providing quality human resources for the Navy and many other units throughout the army.

Accordingly, the school has trained more than 10,000 professional technical soldiers at intermediate and college levels; 30,000 non-commissioned officers and soldiers at elementary technical levels, and trained more than 20,000 people in vocational training.

Currently, the Naval Technical College is assigned the task of training technical professionals at 3 levels: college, intermediate and primary technical. Of which, college training includes 14 majors; intermediate training with 21 majors; primary technical training with 21 majors.
