Old people would rather sleep until noon than wake up early to do these 3 things.

If waking up early can really make people healthier, why do many older people have more health problems when they wake up early?

Many people believe that going to bed early and waking up early is good for your health, especially when you get old, you should maintain the "good habit" of waking up early in the morning, exercising and sunbathing. But is this concept really true?

Morning is the time when the human body's physiological state is most unstable. If you are not careful, it will affect your health. If you wake up too early at this time and do some things incorrectly, it can easily bring hidden dangers to your body.

From a medical perspective, sleeping until noon is not laziness, but giving the body a chance to adjust. Especially for people who are prone to fluctuating blood pressure, unstable blood sugar and cardiovascular problems, waking up too early is really a torture.

Waking up early is good but if you wake up early and do something wrong then your health will be in greater danger. So, what are the things you should never do?

You should not drink a lot of water right after waking up in the morning.

The human body is often in a state of physiological dehydration in the early morning, especially after getting older. The blood flow itself is slower than when you were young, and the elasticity of blood vessels is also worse. If you suddenly drink a large glass of water at this time, it will cause blood pressure fluctuations and even cause cardiovascular and cerebrovascular accidents.

There was a patient over 60 years old, in good health. He woke up at six o'clock every morning and drank a large glass of water. As a result, one day, right after drinking the water, he felt dizzy and his heart rate increased. When he was taken to the hospital, he had symptoms of transient cerebral ischemia.

The reason was that his ability to regulate blood vessels had declined. After waking up in the morning, his blood pressure was unstable, and drinking a large amount of water suddenly caused a drastic change in blood volume, and his body did not have time to adapt, leading to problems.

The best way is to lie in bed for a while, wait until the body has fully adapted, then slowly stand up. After about ten minutes, drink warm water in small sips instead of drinking cold water or drinking a lot of water.

Don't get up right away to exercise in the morning.

Many elderly people think that fresh morning air and going out to exercise are good for the body, but in fact, morning is not a good time to exercise, especially for the elderly.

When you first wake up in the morning, your sympathetic nerves start to work, your blood pressure rises, and your heart rate increases. If you exercise at this time, especially heavy exercise, it will put a greater burden on your cardiovascular system.

There was a 70-year-old man who woke up at 5 a.m. every day and went jogging in the park, believing that this could exercise his heart and lung function. But one day, after running a few hundred meters, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest and fainted on the ground. After being taken to the hospital, he was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction.

The doctor analyzed that he had cardiovascular disease and that exercising early in the morning caused a sudden change in blood pressure, causing an acute heart attack.

In fact, morning exercise is not suitable for all elderly people, especially in the cold season. Morning temperature is low, blood vessels are easily constricted, blood pressure is easily increased. Exercising outdoors at this time will actually increase the risk.

For older adults, it may be best to schedule exercise for late morning or afternoon, rather than rushing to exercise at dawn.

Don't wake up early to take a bath.

Some people have the habit of taking a bath in the morning, thinking that taking a hot bath in the morning can help them wake up and relax their body, but for the elderly, taking a bath in the morning is actually a potential danger.

When people just wake up, their blood pressure and blood sugar levels are not yet completely stable. Bathing, especially hot water baths, will cause blood vessels to suddenly dilate, leading to a sharp drop in blood pressure, causing dizziness or even fainting.

There was a 65-year-old man who woke up at 5:30 a.m. and took a hot shower as usual. However, after a while of showering, he suddenly felt a black screen before his eyes and then fell in the bathroom. After his family found him, they took him to the hospital and he was eventually diagnosed with fainting due to low blood pressure.

This is a typical health risk caused by morning bathing. Many people think that bathing is not serious, but in fact, for the elderly, bathing at the wrong time can cause serious health problems.

For the elderly, it is best to choose afternoon or evening to bathe. The water temperature should not be too high and the bathing time should not be too long. Especially for people with high blood pressure and heart disease, be careful not to bathe early in the morning to avoid accidents caused by blood pressure fluctuations.
