Trach Xa tailoring profession becomes national intangible cultural heritage

On the evening of December 27, in Hanoi, a ceremony was held to announce and present the decision to recognize the Trach Xa sewing profession as a national intangible cultural heritage.

According to the Organizing Committee, with the goal of building and promoting tourist destinations and unique tourism products associated with cultural values, heritage, relics and craft villages in Hanoi, the program "Ung Hoa - Suburban Heritage Area" was held for 3 days from December 27-29 in Van Dinh town, Ung Hoa district.

At the opening ceremony, the Hanoi Department of Tourism announced and awarded the decision to recognize the Trach Xa sewing village as a national intangible cultural heritage and the decision to recognize the Quang Phu Cau incense stick craft village as a tourist destination.

On this occasion, we will promote the implementation of the tourist route "South Thang Long Heritage Road" (Hanoi Center - Thanh Oai - Ung Hoa - My Duc) to introduce more about the unique culture of the region to tourists, at the same time creating a premise for travel businesses to exploit together to continue connecting with other service providers to form more new tours and routes with more appeal.

Visitors to the program will have the opportunity to experience tailoring Ao Dai for 0 VND. This activity aims to introduce and promote traditional tailoring skills to tourists. Ms. Dang Thi Huong Giang - Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism said that with its rich culture and valuable historical heritage, Ung Hoa is one of the localities with great tourism potential.
