
The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to implement the National Strategy on Anti-Corruption and Negativity until 2030 in Quang Nam province (according to Decision No. 2862), assigning the Provincial Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and organizations to implement it.
The plan sets out a number of key goals, such as: Overcoming loopholes and inadequacies in policies and laws in socio-economic fields, especially those areas prone to corruption and negativity.
Building a streamlined, effective and efficient state apparatus; a team of professional, disciplined, honest, competent, qualified, responsible and ethical cadres, civil servants and public employees meeting task requirements.
Strengthen preventive measures; promptly detect and strictly handle all acts of corruption and negativity; thoroughly recover misappropriated and lost assets...
To achieve the set goals, the Provincial People's Committee has proposed many solutions, specifically: Perfecting policies and laws in the fields of socio-economic management and preventing corruption and negativity; perfecting the state apparatus, perfecting the public service regime, building a team of honest cadres, civil servants and public employees; improving the effectiveness of law enforcement; strengthening inspection, supervision, investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgments.
At the same time, raise awareness, promote the role and responsibility of society in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; actively participate in and improve the effectiveness of international cooperation in preventing and combating corruption, and fully implement the rights and obligations of member states of the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

The Provincial People's Committee requires agencies, units, and localities, especially leaders, to clearly identify the work of preventing corruption and negativity as a key task in leadership and administration.
The whole province resolutely implements the Party's guidelines, policies, laws, and resolutions of the National Assembly related to the fight against corruption and negativity; resolutely and strictly handle all cases of taking advantage of positions and powers to commit corruption, negativity, harassment, and causing trouble for people and businesses.
Strictly implement legal regulations on asset and income control; control conflicts of interest, prevent corruption in the non-state sector; measures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
Localities and units promote propaganda, dissemination and education of laws on corruption and negativity prevention to raise awareness and promote the role and responsibility of society in this task.
At the same time, strengthen inspection, supervision and examination to promptly detect and strictly handle acts of corruption and negativity in agencies and units; focus on doing a good job of internal inspection to proactively prevent, detect, rectify and handle violations according to the provisions of law.
Each agency and unit takes the implementation of anti-corruption and anti-negativity work as one of the criteria to evaluate the completion of annual tasks; determines the responsibilities of the Party Committee and the government, first of all the responsibilities of the heads of all levels, sectors, localities and units.
