Disciplinary decision No. 65/QD-LĐBĐVN issued a warning to the head coach of U19 Soc Trang - Mr. Pham Huu Phuoc, for allowing the team to play below their ability at the 2024/25 National U19 Football Championship, seriously affecting the tournament and VFF.

The football teams Luxury Ha Long, Soc Trang, Dao Ha Football Center and Tay Nguyen Gia Lai were all warned for not playing up to their abilities.

This year’s U19 National Qualifiers have 29 teams participating, divided into 5 groups. The first and second place teams in each group and the 2 third-placed teams with the best results will advance to the final round. While the VFF has not officially announced the penalty, many people have already raised questions about the heavy losses of some teams.

In group A, Luxury Ha Long has only 4 points after 10 matches, with a goal difference of -42. Dao Ha Football Center has 1 point, with a goal difference of -47. Tay Nguyen Gia Lai has 1 point in group C with a goal difference of -30. Soc Trang has 1 point and a goal difference of -26 in group E. Binh Minh Quang Ngai has 0 points and a goal difference of -55.

However, according to the final conclusion, Binh Minh Quang Ngai team played to their full potential and showed no negative signs.

Recently, VFF has continuously stepped up the fight against corruption in national tournaments including V.League and youth tournaments. Referees are regularly asked to report suspicious signs in the matches they officiate.
