Neymar has agreed to part ways with Al Hilal after receiving $50 million of the remaining $60 million in salary from his contract, which expires on June 30. The 32-year-old Brazilian star has decided to return to Santos, where he was born and made his name, with a short-term 6-month contract with the option to extend for the next year, according to Globo (Brazil).
Neymar was presented by Santos Club in a grand manner at Vila Belmiro Stadium.

During his previous career with Santos, Neymar played from 2009 to 2013, with a total of 225 matches and 136 goals. This was the stepping stone for Neymar to move to Europe to play for Barcelona with an expensive contract for 4 seasons, before moving to PSG with a world record transfer fee of 230 million USD that still exists today.
Neymar's career only went downhill when he moved to Al Hilal in August 2023 due to a series of serious injuries. Finally, in the hope of reviving his career, Neymar chose to return to Santos Club with many expectations ahead.
