Fierce competition in the 40km cycling stage at the Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025

After completing the 1.5km swim, Olympic Triathlon athletes quickly swam to shore and moved to the transition area.

Here, they quickly took off their swimsuits, put on their shoes and got their bikes to continue on to the second stage of the race.

Every move was made in the shortest possible time to save time and maintain an advantage in the 40km cycling leg ahead.

Athletes entered the cycling competition on the beautiful coastal route running along the shore of Ha Long Bay - known as one of the most impressive racing tracks with majestic natural scenery and flat road surface, ideal for speed.

The technical turns and long stretches of road ahead are a test of each athlete's endurance and acceleration.

Every athlete has their own goals, whether it's to conquer themselves, finish a race, or simply not give up.

The competition brings together both domestic and international athletes to compete.

Along the race route, water stations are arranged to help athletes maintain their physical strength throughout the race.

An athlete must pour water over himself to cool down and lower his body temperature during competition.

Not only male athletes, but also female athletes competed professionally and determinedly, showing that sportsmanship does not discriminate against gender (Photo: Thanh Dong).

After finishing the 40km cycling race, the athletes immediately entered the transition area to enter the running competition.

The 10km run is the final leg of the Olympic Triathlon, where athletes must overcome their physical and mental limits after two challenging races.

The Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025 is an Aquathlon sporting event consisting of two swimming and running events organized by Dan Tri newspaper in collaboration with Bolt Event and the People's Public Security Sports Association in Hon Gai, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, taking place on April 12 - 13.

The tournament has 6 competition distances suitable for all ages, from children to adults. The highlight of the 2025 season is the appearance of a new competition event: Olympic-standard swimming - cycling - running (Triathlon) (1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run).
