Mourinho is so interesting

Jose Mourinho is famous for his strong personality and attention-grabbing statements, but few people expected him to interrupt a television interview just to praise a referee.

Former Premier League referee Jon Moss, who officiated hundreds of top-level matches in England, shared humorous memories of Mourinho. He admitted that being a referee is not just about dealing with situations on the pitch, but also dealing with coaches with strong personalities. When asked about the most difficult coach to deal with, Moss did not hesitate to mention Mourinho.

"I've always had a love-hate relationship with Mourinho. I've sent him off three times, but I have to admit he's a great coach. Mourinho is the type of character that any league would love to have, sometimes very annoying, but extremely interesting. We had tense confrontations in the dressing room, but also friendly moments."

Moss recounted complaining to Mourinho that managers often criticised referees but rarely praised them publicly. Mourinho, in his unmistakable style, responded in an unexpected way.

"I said to Jose: 'You never say anything good about referees on TV'. He said: 'Wait a minute'. Then he ran into the interview room, pushed aside a player who was being interviewed by Sky Sports , looked straight into the camera and said: 'I think the referee had a great game today'. Then he came back to the dressing room, patted me on the shoulder and said: 'That's it, you owe me one' and walked away."

After leaving the Premier League, Mourinho worked in many places and continued to make his mark at Fenerbahce. Here, the "Special One" once again became the center of attention when criticizing the referees and the management of the entire tournament.

Mourinho collapsed during Fenerbahce's training session. Mourinho was bullied by his students during Fenerbahce's training session.
