The AK submachine gun simulation by the authors of the Military Technical Academy is one of 10 inventions awarded the first prize of the 2023 Military Youth Innovation Contest.

On the morning of May 18, the Ministry of National Defense held a summary and award ceremony for the "Creative Youth in the Army 2023" award with the theme "Year of digital transformation of the Union's activities". The AK submachine gun simulation project by the group of authors from the Military Technical Academy was highly appreciated for its usefulness in practical training.

The AK submachine gun is a popular infantry weapon equipped in the military. When integrating the simulator, the trainee's shooting path will be accurately checked for correction. The device will fully simulate a shot such as recoil force, explosion sound, helping the trainee experience the feeling of training as realistic as when shooting real bullets.

Due to mastering the technology and reasonable production costs, the product can now be mass-produced in many units.

For each flight, the safety of the pilot and the aircraft is the most important factor. In particular, take-off and landing are complex stages influenced by many factors, any small error in the pilot's operation can lead to unsafe risks. From that reality, the group of authors of the Air Force Officer School studied the aerodynamics of the Su-27 aircraft during take-off and landing.

From the research results, the authors have built a graph showing the changes in aerodynamic characteristics of the Su-27 aircraft during take-off and landing in different conditions; thereby promptly giving recommendations to users. This creation was also awarded first prize by the Award Council.
