On the afternoon of January 24, the People's Committee of Ly Nhan district held a conference to summarize the emulation and reward work in 2023, launch and sign the emulation covenant in 2024. Attending and directing the conference was comrade Nguyen Anh Chuc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
In 2023, despite many difficulties and challenges, with the attention and leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, along with the efforts of the Party Committee, government, and people in the district, the patriotic emulation movement in the district was launched and widely deployed in all fields of socio-economy, national defense - security, building the political system, etc. Thereby, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, motivating and encouraging collectives, individuals, and people of all walks of life to overcome difficulties and strive to achieve the set goals and tasks.
In 2023, Ly Nhan district has completed and exceeded 16/17 main socio-economic development targets. Total state budget revenue reached 2,134 billion VND, reaching 145.6% of the province's plan. Average income per capita reached 70.5 million VND/person. Agricultural production achieved good results, programs, projects, and socio-economic development models were effectively implemented; industry, handicrafts, trade, and services grew quite well; the new rural construction program was focused on implementation, the whole district currently has 10 communes meeting the criteria of advanced new rural communes, model new rural areas; site clearance work carried out basic projects according to the set schedule; culture and society had many exciting activities.
In the overall achievements of the district, there are important contributions from patriotic emulation movements in the area; the entire political system, the entire people and the business community in Ly Nhan district have closely followed the key political tasks, strived to overcome difficulties and challenges to respond, actively, synchronously and effectively implement emulation movements such as: Emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new countryside", movement "Friendly government serving the people", emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind";... From the emulation movements, many typical examples of collectives and individuals in production, combat and study have emerged.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Chuc, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, commended and congratulated the results that Ly Nhan district has achieved in the emulation and reward movements in 2023. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that Ly Nhan district in 2024 focus on implementing the following key tasks: Continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement President Ho Chi Minh's patriotic emulation ideology, the spirit of Directive No. 34-CT/TW of the Politburo on continuing to innovate emulation and reward work; further strengthen the leadership and direction of emulation and reward work of Party committees at all levels, State management of emulation and reward work, linking the emulation movement with promoting the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo "on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; Launch and implement emulation movements in various fields in conjunction with the implementation of the Resolution of the 26th District Party Congress; accelerate site clearance and resettlement for the Investment Project on Construction of Road 495B and the Road Connecting 02 Tran Temples; implement the Ha Nam High-Tech Park project; industrial parks, clusters and urban areas in the district; complete and submit for approval the Project to establish Hoa Hau town; promote administrative reform, implement digital transformation; implement emulation work in 2024, strive to excellently complete assigned goals and tasks.
With the achieved results, in 2023, Ly Nhan district had 1 collective and 1 individual honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; 11 collectives received the Excellent Emulation Flag from the Provincial People's Committee, 21 collectives achieved the title of Excellent Labor; 13 individuals were recognized as provincial-level emulation fighters; 9 collectives and 9 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and many collectives and individuals were awarded emulation titles and rewards from the district.
On this occasion, the conference launched the emulation movement in 2024, and representatives of the blocs organized the signing of the emulation covenant in 2024.
