Consulting on draft Decree detailing regulations on rice-growing land

On the afternoon of June 18, comrade Tran Hong Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister chaired an online conference with ministries, branches, localities, enterprises, associations and experts to collect opinions on the draft Decree detailing regulations on rice-growing land. Attending the conference at Thai Binh bridge were comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities.

The draft Decree detailing regulations on rice-growing land includes 4 chapters and 18 articles regulating the conversion of crop and livestock structures on rice-growing land; using a part of the rice-growing land area to build works directly serving agricultural production; protecting and using the topsoil when building works on land converted from specialized rice-growing land; paying money to protect and develop rice-growing land; and policies to support the development of rice-growing land.
The draft Decree was consulted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with members of the Government, ministries, branches and localities to absorb and edit to ensure details, completeness, synchronization and consistency with the 2024 Land Law as well as the system of related legal documents while ensuring the inheritance, stability and development of the land law system.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on a number of contents: conditions for converting crop and livestock structures; conditions for constructing works directly serving agricultural production on rice fields...
Concluding the conference, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to synthesize opinions at the conference to complete the draft and submit it to the Government for consideration and decision so that the Decree, after being promulgated, will be suitable to the actual situation and promote the effectiveness of the 2024 Land Law.
