The event was organized by the Vietnam-Korea Cultural and Economic Association (under the iFLELLOWSHIP International Cooperation Organization) in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province. With the theme "Quang Tri - Blossoming Memories", the program aims to join hands to honor the value of peace, calling on everyone to unite to fight, preserve and build a peaceful and prosperous life for the homeland of Vietnam and humanity; contributing to building Quang Tri into a cultural space for peace, a symbol of the strong vitality of humanity on the land that was once severely devastated by war; at the same time spreading pride and love for the homeland.

Explaining the theme of the program, iFLELLOWSHIP Chairman Nguyen Quang Huy shared:

On May 26, the Organizing Committee held an online meeting at 3 locations: Quang Tri, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang City to approve the program script. The meeting was attended by Mr. Hoang Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Quang Tri Peace Festival 2024; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Information and Communications, the Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, the Board of Directors of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and specialized departments.

The Festival program includes activities such as the Cycling for Peace Festival taking place from June 29-30 at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai National Historical Site; the Cultural - Culinary Festival "Taste of the Sunflower Land" from July 12-14 at the Cua Viet Service - Tourism Area, Gio Linh District; the music exchange "Melody of Peace" - Trinh Cong Son's music night at Fidel Park in Dong Ha City at 8:00 p.m. on July 13; the political art program organized by
Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with Quang Tri province with the theme "Parallel 17 - Aspiration for Peace" taking place at 8:00 p.m. on July 19; the international music exchange "Melody of Peace" at 8:00 p.m. on July 20 at the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center; The program "Wish for Peace" at 8:00 p.m. on July 26 at the special national relic of Quang Tri Citadel.

According to the Organizing Committee, the art program “Melody for Peace” will include 2 parts. Part 1: “Quang Tri - Blossoming Memories” and Part 2: “Quang Tri - Destination of Peace”. The highlight of the program is the theme song
Melody of Peace with the participation of many famous domestic and international singers and artists from Korea, the United States and Japan, along with art troupes from Laos, Thailand and Cambodia... In addition, many collections of Ao Dai with strong Vietnamese identity will also be performed within the framework of the program.

The international music exchange program “Melody for Peace” promises to become a destination attracting a large number of people and domestic and international tourists, spreading the message of peace and becoming the highlight of this year’s Peace Festival in Quang Tri.
