Lam Dong stops appointing and rotating leaders in many localities

Localities temporarily suspend the election, appointment, rotation, and transfer of leadership positions, including Da Lat city and Lac Duong, Da Huoai, Da Teh, and Cat Tien districts.

Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee also noted that in cases where localities have a vacancy in their leaders and cannot arrange a person in charge according to regulations of competent authorities, they can elect and appoint that position.

In addition, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee also requested to temporarily suspend the recruitment of civil servants and public employees in the above localities (except for education officials).

Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee requires that civil servants and public employees only be accepted for positions that cannot be arranged for concurrent positions and must be approved by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

Regarding the transfer of work out of the above localities according to the personal wishes of civil servants and public employees (except education officials), it will only be implemented when the unit's leaders commit to ensuring the ability to complete the assigned tasks.

The election, appointment, rotation, transfer of leadership and management positions and the recruitment and reception of cadres, civil servants and public employees in localities that must be merged will be carried out according to regulations after the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement for each corresponding administrative unit comes into effect.

Previously, Lam Dong province developed a plan to merge district-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period.

In which, the entire natural area and population of Da Huoai district, Da Teh district and Cat Tien district are merged into one district. The entire natural area and population of Lac Duong district are merged into Da Lat city.
