Engineer returning from France to own the brand "Bơ Ông Hoàng" is one of 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces in 2023

On the evening of March 20, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union announced 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces and promising young Vietnamese faces in 2023.

Among the 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces in 2023 announced by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, there is the presence of Mr. Dang Duong Minh Hoang, member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Head of the National Luong Dinh Cua Network, Director of Thien Nong Farm Binh Phuoc, Director of Binh Phuoc Digital Agricultural Service Cooperative, Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer in 2022.

Previously, the award council held its second meeting to discuss, give opinions and vote by secret ballot to select outstanding young Vietnamese faces of 2023 and promising young Vietnamese faces of 2023.

At the meeting, Mr. Bui Quang Huy - First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union said that after the first council meeting to select 20 nominees for the online voting round, the standing unit of the award has implemented a number of measures to ensure the quality of the award. In particular, verifying the personal background, moral character, lifestyle, and records of the nominees from many different sources.

From that basis, the council members discussed, analyzed, evaluated, compared, and considered factors and aspects in each field and between fields by secret ballot to select 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces in 2023 and 9 promising young Vietnamese faces in 2023.

Sharing with PV Dan Viet after being announced by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union as one of the 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces in 2023, Mr. Dang Duong Minh Hoang said he was "very happy and proud".

"With this recognition from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, it will be a motivation for me to strive and contribute my efforts to the agricultural development of Binh Phuoc in general and to the people working and accompanying in the cooperative, aiming to export agricultural products to international markets, thereby bringing foreign currency to the country."

Talking about upcoming plans, Mr. Hoang said that in the near future, he will connect with some members of the Luong Dinh Cua Network nationwide to Thailand and Korea to trade, connect supply and demand, thereby promoting agricultural exports to international markets.

Hoang also said that he is currently working with a number of partners to implement a number of scientific research projects. These include using nanotechnology, digital technology, using input materials such as ash, rice husks, biological products, optical sensors to detect pesticide residues on fruit trees... towards sustainable development. At the same time, developing the "Gamification" application, bringing experiential agriculture to the majority of people living in urban areas.

"When playing the game at level 1, you can observe the growth process of fruit trees, then pay a fee, go through the lessons, players begin to have knowledge about agriculture, can interact directly, use the Internet of Things... water each tree and proceed to harvest", Hoang shared.

In addition, continue to apply the method of digitizing each tree, each tree is a website, an electronic diary, thereby making the crops and livestock in your Farm transparent.

Sending a message to young Vietnamese people who have, are and will start a business in the agricultural sector, Hoang believes that young Vietnamese people today always have passion, enthusiasm, intellectual capacity and foreign language skills. Therefore, he believes that with the motto "if you want to go far, you have to go together", you will be brand ambassadors to promote the country's agricultural sector, contributing to improving Vietnam's position on the global agricultural map.
