Route connecting National Highway 37 - Provincial Road 269B: Opening up development opportunities for the 'Tu Tan' region

When the route connecting National Highway 37 - Provincial Road 269B is completed and put into use, it will contribute significantly to promoting the socio-economic development of the "Tu Tan" area (Phu Binh).

The project of the road connecting National Highway 37 - Provincial Road 269B (with the starting point connecting to the main road of Ngoc Xuan Residential Area, Kieu Chinh Hamlet, Xuan Phuong Commune; the end point connecting to Provincial Road 269B at Km5+450, Tan Thanh Commune) was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in February 2023, with a total investment of nearly 223 billion VND. According to the design, the road is 6.1km long, the roadbed is 12m wide, and the road surface is 11m wide.

The route was started at the end of December 2023, with the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor. According to the schedule assigned to the contractor by the investor, the project will be completed after 420 days. Thus, by the end of March 2025, the construction unit will have to complete and hand over the project to the investor for use in April 2025.

Present at the construction site of the road connecting National Highway 37 - Provincial Road 269B, we witnessed the urgent working atmosphere of the technical staff and workers of the Thai Nguyen - Vina contractor consortium (including Tan Thinh Company Limited, Huu Hue Construction and Trading Company Limited, Vinastar Construction Development Joint Stock Company, Vinadelta Joint Stock Company) to speed up the construction progress.

Of the total 6.1km of road in the Project, Tan Thinh Company Limited won the bid to construct 1,400m. According to Mr. Ngo Duong Hoan, in charge of construction of Tan Thinh Company Limited: There is 1 bridge on the route, and up to now, the construction unit has completed nearly 90% of the bridge and road volume. Taking advantage of favorable weather, the unit mobilized over 30 engineers, workers and machinery to construct 3 shifts continuously. The contractor committed to completing and handing over the project before March 31, 2025.

In order for the road to be completed on schedule, the People's Committee of Phu Binh district has directed the District Land Fund Development Center and the communes of Xuan Phuong, Tan Kim, and Tan Thanh to carry out propaganda work well so that people can fully grasp information related to the Project, agree to receive compensation, and hand over the site to the construction unit.

Thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, up to now, the District Land Fund Development Center has handed over 13.29/13.31 hectares of construction site to the investor, reaching 99.8%.

Tan Thinh Company Limited is speeding up the construction progress of Kenh Bridge on the route connecting National Highway 37 - Provincial Road 269B, committed to completing and handing over the project before March 31, 2025.

As one of the households with a large area of ​​land to be recovered, after being propagandized and mobilized by commune officials, the family of Ms. Ly Thi Hien, in La Le hamlet, Tan Thanh commune, urgently handed over 515m2 of land, creating favorable conditions for the construction unit.

Ms. Hien excitedly said: The invested road not only facilitates my family and the people in the village to develop the economy, but also benefits the people of the "Tu Tan" area (including Tan Thanh, Tan Kim, Tan Hoa, Tan Khanh communes). With the propaganda and mobilization of local officials, my family has handed over the land and received compensation. Currently, the District Land Fund Development Center has deducted the recovered land and reissued the land use right certificate for the family.

The family of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, in Kieu Chinh hamlet, Xuan Phuong commune - the starting point of the route - has set an example by handing over over 1,200 square meters of land and receiving compensation right from the first phase. Mr. Hong shared: My family has been very cooperative in receiving compensation, handing over the site, and creating conditions for the construction unit to implement the project according to plan. My family has lived on this land for nearly 40 years, and traffic is very difficult. Now that the road has been opened, it will not only help Xuan Phuong commune and the mountainous communes of the district develop, but also contribute to promoting economic restructuring in the district.

The total land area to be recovered for the construction of the road connecting National Highway 37 - Provincial Road 269B is 13.31 hectares, with 440 households affected. Currently, there are only 2 households on the route that have not yet handed over the land. The District Land Fund Development Center is actively coordinating with the local government to propagate and mobilize these 2 households to agree.

According to statistics, up to now, the roadbed construction has reached over 5.58/6.1km; crushed stone grade II has reached 5.38/6.1km; crushed stone grade I has reached 4.91/6.1km; asphalt concrete layer 1 has reached 4.97/6.1km; asphalt concrete layer 2 has reached 4.28/6.1km.

Kenh bridge project reached 90%, Tan Kim bridge reached 98%; other projects reached 89% of construction volume. The value of completed volume over contract value reached over 106/133.29 billion VND (reaching 79.9%).

When the route is completed and put into use, it will contribute to forming a connecting road axis, promoting industrial production and eco-tourism in the area to develop in accordance with local orientation and planning.
