At the workshop "Improving management capacity, saving costs in production, applying digital transformation for rural industrial establishments in the new situation" organized by the Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Institute of Electronics, Informatics, and Automation (Ministry of Industry and Trade) recently helped more than 100 state management officials in the field of industry and trade of the People's Committees of districts and cities; People's Committees of some communes and towns; rural industrial establishments in the province to have more access to solutions for implementing digital transformation in production and business activities.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Yen, Deputy Head of the Economic Infrastructure Department of Na Hang district, said that IT establishments in the district have changed recently, some cooperatives have put their products on e-commerce platforms to promote and expand the market on digital platforms. However, because most production establishments, individual business households, and cooperatives are small-scale production units, limited in production scale, lacking advertising experience, especially online advertising, they have encountered difficulties in approaching customers and operating methods on e-commerce platforms. Through this workshop, we will soon deploy knowledge suitable to the local situation, open training courses to improve capacity for units in the fields of trade, industry, and handicrafts on digital transformation. Thereby, helping units optimize business processes, management processes, production and business, apply digital technology, connect with large domestic and international e-commerce platforms; Providing online search solutions for shopping, consumption and culinary locations.

Digital transformation has helped IT establishments increase transparency and efficiency in business administration, save costs and improve competitiveness. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Manager of Sang Nhung Green Agricultural Products Store, said that compared to traditional sales in the past, digital transformation has brought high efficiency to the unit. Through seminars and training sessions on digital transformation, the unit has better understood the actual situation and how to approach digital platforms suitable for business operations.
Through software and digital platform booths, the store has managed orders, customers and revenue and expenditure effectively, helping the unit both reduce costs and optimize resources. The unit's revenue has also improved significantly through livestream sales on Facebook, Tiktok, etc.
According to the assessment of the authorities, currently most IT establishments in the province are facing difficulties in human resources, do not have much experience in applying and exploiting technology; initial digital transformation projects cost a lot of investment, while the financial capacity of the units is still limited... In the coming time, the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion will continue to accompany IT establishments in the digital transformation process; focus on consulting, providing a simple digital transformation roadmap; introduce highly applicable, easy-to-deploy solutions to help IT establishments transform digitally quickly and effectively...
