Since early this morning, June 3, before the information allowing automatic registration extension for private cars with less than 9 seats, many people have accessed the website of the Vietnam Register to register, causing the system to be overloaded.
Due to many visitors, the website of the Vietnam Register was overloaded this morning, June 3.
Mr. Chuong (Hanoi) said he had visited the website ttdk.com.vn many times this morning but could not access it. "My car was manufactured in 2013 and was just inspected in January 2023. I wonder if the inspection will be extended or not?", Mr. Chuong wondered. Many other car owners are also wondering if they are eligible for automatic inspection extension.
According to a representative of the Vietnam Register, due to the sudden increase in the number of visitors to the Vietnam Register's website these days, the homepage is overloaded; to look up information on renewing inspection certificates, vehicle owners are requested to go directly to the website at https://giahanxcg.vr.org.vn
Currently, the website for checking the validity of certificates and inspection stamps has information of all vehicles that have been renewed according to regulations. However, because it takes a long time to create digitally signed files of the inspection validity certificates for these vehicles, it is not available for all vehicles at this time.
Therefore, the Vietnam Register prioritizes creating certificate files for vehicles with the nearest inspection date first. On June 3, it will allow downloading files for vehicles with inspection dates from June 3 to June 10. Vehicles with inspection dates until June 30 will be uploaded to the system before June 10 for vehicle owners to register and download certificates and inspection stamps.
It is expected that the Vietnam Register will complete the work of creating information for all vehicles (more than 1.9 million vehicles) before June 30.
Last night, June 2, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 08/2023/TT-BGTVT (effective from June 3). According to the provisions of Circular 08, more than 1.9 million motor vehicles have their inspection cycle extended.
Specifically, the cycle will be extended by 6 months for vehicles under 7 years old and over 13 years old. If these vehicles have an inspection deadline after June 3, their registration will be automatically extended. Vehicle owners can go to the website of the Vietnam Register to register and print the inspection certificate and inspection stamp.
People should note that the management software system will be updated gradually in order of vehicles due for inspection. Specifically, it is expected that on the first day, vehicles due for inspection until around June 10 will be updated.
