At the same time, heat waves are likely to appear in the Northwest, North and Central Central regions in the second half of March and April 2024. In particular, the Southern and Central Highlands regions will continue to experience many hot days, concentrated in the Southeast provinces.

Also during this period, rainfall in areas across the country was generally 5-15mm lower, with some places in the Northwest, Central and South Central regions being 15-40mm lower than the average for the same period.
