( Bqp.vn ) - On the afternoon of January 3, in Hanoi, Emulation Block No. 3, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army held the launching ceremony of the Emulation Movement for Victory in 2025. Colonel Pham Van Hung, Deputy Chief of Political Department of the General Staff attended the ceremony.

2025 is the year when the entire Party, people and army will promote emulation to successfully complete the tasks and targets of Party Congresses at all levels; the year has many anniversaries and major events of the Party, the country and the Army such as: the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; the 80th anniversary of the General Staff's Traditional Day; the year to organize Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress and the 11th Army Emulation Congress.

Responding to the Emulation movement to win launched by the General Staff, with the theme "Democracy, solidarity, discipline, creativity, and determination to win", Emulation Block No. 3 determined to focus on the main contents: Emulation to build agencies and units that are strong in politics, ideology, and organization; maintain solidarity, unity, and exemplary, and determination to win. Proactively, creatively innovate, and compete to successfully complete assigned tasks. Emulate to well implement the "Three Breakthroughs" according to the Resolution of the 11th Army Party Congress and the Resolution of the 18th Party Congress of the Military Command - Ministry of National Defense; effectively implement emulation movements; well organize key emulation activities. Conduct commendation work to ensure democracy, publicity, strictness, timeliness, and compliance with principles, processes, and procedures.

To better meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation, Major General Nguyen Manh Hung, Director of the Department of Standards - Metrology - Quality, Head of Emulation Block No. 3, called on all cadres, soldiers and workers in the whole block to promote a high sense of responsibility, self-reliance, dynamism, creativity, strive to compete, set many new achievements, successfully complete the goals, contents and targets of the Emulation Movement to Win in 2025 and the peak emulation periods, build Emulation Block No. 3 to always be strong, complete well and excellently all assigned tasks; build a clean and strong Party committee and organization, a comprehensively strong "exemplary and typical" agency and unit, making an important contribution to the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

According to Decision No. 1853/QD-TM, dated July 16, 2024 of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army on the establishment of emulation blocs of agencies and units under the General Staff, Emulation bloc No. 3 is a bloc of units directly above the grassroots level, including the following units: Department of Electronic Warfare; Department of Standards - Measurement - Quality; Institute of Military Science and Technology; Department of Military Training - Schools; Department of Logistics; Department of Maps. Including 1 unit leader, 1 unit deputy leader and 4 member units.
In 2024, the emulation and reward work has been led, directed, and implemented comprehensively, synchronously, with focus, key points, and closely following reality and tasks by the units in Emulation Block No. 3. Through the emulation movement, hundreds of collectives and thousands of individuals have been rewarded at all levels; 4/6 units in the block were proposed to receive the Emulation Flag.
