The conference assessed: In 2024, cyberspace and IT operations in the entire army were deployed synchronously and drastically, and a number of targets and tasks achieved positive results. Firmly managing and protecting national sovereignty over cyberspace; proactively advising on the development of legal documents, gradually perfecting the legal environment for cyberspace, IT and digital transformation (CDS) operations, meeting mission requirements. Reconnaissance and specialized operations were initially effective; organizing defense and firmly protecting the operations of important national, military and defense information systems. Command 86 directed its subordinate units and the entire army's IT force to successfully complete the task of ensuring cyberspace operations to serve the exercises directed by the Ministry of National Defense; participating in domestic and international combat exercises with high results; Organize combat training for units under Command 86 to achieve the set goals and requirements; promptly direct the overcoming of shortcomings, weaknesses, and security holes in the military computer network.
The work of developing e-Government, digital transformation associated with ensuring information security (IT) and network security (SSS) has been promoted, deployed synchronously and comprehensively. The military computer network infrastructure has been gradually expanded to level 2 and level 3 units under the Ministry of National Defense; IT and digital transformation have been effectively applied in performing military and defense tasks, especially in exercises, training, competitions and sports; shared services and applications in the Ministry of National Defense basically meet the requirements of the task. IT security and SSS work has been organized tightly and effectively. Command 86 has directed its subordinate units and the entire army's IT force to closely monitor, promptly detect and effectively handle incidents of information security and SSS loss. The rate of computers violating Internet connection has decreased by 20%, computers infected with high-level malware has decreased by 48% compared to 2023; 233 security vulnerabilities have been fixed. In addition, IT technical work, force organization, training and education are also invested in, implemented comprehensively and effectively to ensure good equipment, technical supplies and timely IT human resources for tasks.
