On the morning of September 27, Ha Long city solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony for a group of technical infrastructure projects to create landscapes on the surface of the canals at Hai Ha, Hai Thinh, and Hai Loc streets (Hong Hai ward).
The group of infrastructure projects to create landscapes on the surface of the canals in Hai Ha Street, Hai Thinh Street, Hai Loc Street (Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City) was approved by the People's Council of Ha Long City in the investment policy in Resolution No. 160/NQ-HDND dated March 26, 2024.
The technical infrastructure project to create landscape on the surface of the Hai Ha street canal (Hong Hai ward) will have a total investment of 6 billion VND. The design consultant is Jicaroon Construction Architecture Joint Stock Company. The construction contractor is a joint venture of TLT Vietnam Investment Joint Stock Company and Hung Thang Quang Ninh Company Limited. The scale includes: Investing in technical infrastructure on the surface of the Hai Ha street canal with a total investment area of about 5,704m 2 , length of about 360m; with the following items: Building flower beds, planting trees; a system of cement concrete walkways combined with road surface painting; parking lot; installation of an electric lighting system using LED lights and a mushroom light system to illuminate the path at the landscape lighting.
The technical infrastructure project for landscaping on the surface of the canal in Hai Thinh Street, Hong Hai Ward, will have a total investment of 4.9 billion VND. The design consultant is Jicaroon Construction Architecture Joint Stock Company. The contractor is a joint venture of Quang Ninh Construction and Development Joint Stock Company and Hung Thang Quang Ninh Company Limited. The scale of the project includes: Investing in technical infrastructure on the surface of the canal with an area of about 4,296m2 , a length of about 370m; with the following items: Building flower beds for planting trees, a system of cement concrete walkways combined with road surface painting, parking lots, installing an electrical lighting system using LED lights and a mushroom light system to illuminate the path at the landscape lighting.
The technical infrastructure project for landscaping on the surface of the Hai Loc canal, Hong Hai ward will have a total investment of 6.6 billion VND. The design consultant is Jicaroon Construction Architecture Joint Stock Company. The contractor is a joint venture of Quang Ninh Construction and Development Joint Stock Company and Thang Long Construction and Greenery Company Limited. The scale of the project includes: investing in technical infrastructure on the surface of the canal with a total area of 4,824m2 , length of 430m, with the following items: Building flower beds for planting trees; a system of cement concrete walkways combined with road surface painting; parking lot; installation of an electric lighting system using LED lights and a mushroom light system to illuminate the path at the landscape lighting.
The project group to renovate the canal systems in Hong Hai ward will be completed by the end of 2025; contributing to bringing a new look, turning this place into a bright - green - clean - beautiful area, enhancing the value of the central urban tourist street; at the same time, renovating the landscape of the area to ensure urban aesthetics, develop technical infrastructure; improve environmental sanitation, improve the quality of people's lives, serve the community around the canal area in Hai Ha street, Hai Thinh street and Hai Loc street, Hong Hai ward, Ha Long city.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the leaders of Ha Long City requested the City Project Management Board to enhance their sense of responsibility, closely follow each construction stage, and control the process well to ensure that construction items comply with legal regulations and approved goals and plans. Construction contractors should increase the mobilization of human resources and modern equipment to construct quickly, effectively, and with quality, striving to complete the project earlier than the approved schedule. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, especially the Community Investment Supervision Board, should strengthen supervision of the construction process so that the project is implemented with quality, in accordance with the design, planning, and schedule, and without any negative impacts on the daily lives of the people.
