Officially launching the online quiz contest to learn about "History of the Party Committee, history of Thai Binh province"

On the morning of January 6, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Organizing Committee of the online quiz contest to learn about "History of the Party Committee and History of Thai Binh Province" held a launching ceremony for the contest.

With the theme "Proud and steady in the era of national development", the contest includes 8 weeks, with 3 rounds: Round 1 (from January 6 to January 19), Round 2 (from February 3 to February 23), Round 3 (from February 24 to March 16). The contest content includes: learning about the history of Thai Binh land and people; traditional and cultural values ​​of Thai Binh land and people; history of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee through the periods; achievements of Thai Binh province after 135 years of construction and development and 95 years under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Cadres, party members, people from all walks of life in the province and other interested parties can participate in the contest.

How to participate: Contestants use electronic devices with internet connection, directly access the official information page of the contest at the website https://timhieulichsu.thaibinh.gov.vn or at the contest link on Thai Binh Electronic Newspaper (https://baothaibinh.com.vn), Thai Binh Radio and Television Station (https://thaibinhtv.vn) and the websites of the departments, branches and sectors of the province that have placed the contest link link with the Provincial Electronic Information Portal.

In each test, candidates answer 20 questions, each question has 30 seconds to read and answer. After each round, the Organizing Committee will announce the results on the official website of the competition and the Thai Binh Provincial Information Portal at https://thaibinh.gov.vn. The Organizing Committee will award first, second, third and consolation prizes to individuals after each round, and award prizes to groups after the end of the competition.

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the contest, Comrade Pham Dong Thuy, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee emphasized: The contest has a particularly important meaning and is the first activity in a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025). Through the contest, it helps cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the province to have a deeper understanding of the history of formation, the process of building and development of the Provincial Party Committee, the history of formation of Thai Binh province; at the same time, educating revolutionary traditions, arousing pride and sense of responsibility of each citizen, encouraging and motivating cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to overcome all difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, successfully implement the socio-economic development goals set by the province, together with the whole country entering a new era - the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.

As the standing body of the Organizing Committee of the contest, we have promoted our sense of responsibility, promptly advised and implemented a series of related tasks such as: developing and promulgating the contest plan, rules, scoring regulations, establishing a jury, a secretariat to assist the contest, preparation work, organizing the contest launching ceremony... In particular, the Provincial Youth Union has proactively designed information graphics about the contest and posted them on the fanpage, website of the Provincial Youth Union and district, city and affiliated youth unions; designed and printed more than 1,000 posters introducing an overview of the contest to agencies, units and youth unions throughout the province to widely promote the contest. We will continue to accompany and closely coordinate with units and localities during the more than 2 months of the contest, contributing to the successful organization of this meaningful contest.

In the past time, we have focused on researching and building a set of questions with nearly 250 questions, serving 3 rounds of exams. The content of the questions is divided into 3 groups: Group 1 is questions to learn about the leadership role and major policies of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee through the periods. Group 2 is questions to learn about the history of formation, construction and development of the province; events, movements, characters, and outstanding achievements of the province from 1890 to the present; learning about Uncle Ho with Thai Binh, Thai Binh studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style. Group 3 is questions to learn about traditional values, historical and cultural relics, land and people of Thai Binh. We combine difficult and easy questions so that a large number of candidates can answer but still attract candidates to learn, study, and expand their knowledge about the history of the Party Committee and the history of the province. The questions in the contest not only aim to evaluate and select outstanding individuals but also contribute to propagating, raising awareness, educating revolutionary traditions, promoting the responsibility of cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life in the province to participate in the current cause of building and renovating the homeland.

I found the registration steps to be quite simple and easy to follow; the questions were short and concise, focusing on milestones related to the establishment and development of the Party Committee and Thai Binh province. For me and other young people, the contest is truly meaningful, giving us the opportunity to learn, approach, and supplement useful knowledge about the history of formation and development of our homeland; the glorious history of the Provincial Party Committee. The more we understand, the more proud, grateful, and appreciative we are of the contributions of previous generations, and we vow to strive to compete in work, study, and contribute to building our homeland more and more prosperous.
