Forbes has just announced the list of world billionaires in 2025, in which Vietnam has one less representative compared to last year. Vietnamese billionaires include Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong - Chairman of Vingroup, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Chairwoman of VietJet, Mr. Tran Dinh Long - Chairman of Hoa Phat, Mr. Ho Hung Anh - Chairman of Techcombank and Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Chairman of Masan .
Thaco Chairman Tran Ba Duong is no longer recognized by Forbes as having billion-dollar assets.
Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong is the owner of the largest assets among the 5 Vietnamese billionaires, with 6.5 billion USD, an increase of 2.1 billion USD compared to last year and ranked 535th in the ranking.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao's assets remained at 2.8 billion USD, ranking 1,305th in the world . "Steel King" Tran Dinh Long has 2.4 billion USD, down 0.2 billion USD last year. He is currently ranked 1,513th in the world.
Techcombank Chairman Ho Hung Anh also recorded assets of 2 billion USD, an improvement of more than 17% compared to last year. He is currently ranked 1,763rd in the world's richest group.
Billionaire Nguyen Dang Quang also recorded assets of 1 billion USD, slightly down from 1.2 billion USD last year and ranked 2,933rd on the list.
To be included in the list, the method chosen by Forbes is to evaluate the size of an individual's assets based on stock prices and exchange rates as of March 7.
This year, the world has a record 3,028 billionaires, 247 more than last year. This is the first time the number of billionaires globally has exceeded 3,000 individuals. Their assets are also the largest ever, at $16.1 trillion. Each billionaire owns an average of $5.3 billion, up $200 million from last year.
