The training session took place on the afternoon of April 3 in Hanoi, attracting hundreds of union members, young people and especially volunteers from traffic rapid response teams, green traffic, road and waterway rescue teams.

Young people were equipped with theory and more importantly, direct practice on how to use fire extinguishers, using rudimentary means such as wet blankets to put out simulated fires.

The hypothetical situation is that the entire training area is on fire, with smoke quickly filling the rooms.

According to the hypothetical situation, although most of the students escaped safely, there were still some who needed emergency assistance.

In addition, volunteers were also instructed in drowning prevention skills and first aid for river victims to ensure safety for both rescuers and victims.

The training session was coordinated by experts on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue from Hanoi City Police.

This is a joint activity between the City Youth Union and Hanoi City Police to enhance responsibility, equip basic knowledge and skills in rescue work, and be ready to perform tasks when situations arise.
