On the morning of March 1, Ho Chi Minh City youth officially launched Youth Month 2025, launching the 16th "Young Scientific Volunteers" program at September 23 Park (District 1).

With the theme “Ho Chi Minh City Youth is proud and confident in following the Party”, Youth Month 2025 will take place throughout March with many activities for the city’s youth to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30).

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Tran Thu Ha said that the city has established 11 targets, 2 youth projects and continued 6 key projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
Ms. Ha said that each project and youth work not only demonstrates initiative and volunteerism but also affirms the belief, pride and affection of the young generation for the great revolutionary achievements of the nation, of our Party, and of the heroic city.

With the spirit of "holding the red flag with yellow star forward", the Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union hopes that all levels of the Youth Union in the city will promote the spirit of initiative, creativity, and volunteering for the community.
Along with that, urgently deploy activities, projects, and tasks that have been established to be truly practical, effective, and widespread.
“Every action and initiative of union members and young people will contribute to the local Union organization and unit to carry out projects, tasks and activities of Youth Month with the highest efficiency, contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City to be more civilized, modern and humane,” Ms. Thu Ha hopes.

When young people act for the community
At the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2025, the City Youth Union and Tuoi Tre newspaper officially launched the program "Green Vietnam" 2025.
This is a program initiated by Tuoi Tre newspaper and the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance, implemented from 2024. Thereby calling on everyone, especially young people, to take green actions, promote green production, green consumption, and green lifestyle.
Also here, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union launched the 16th "Young Volunteer Scientific Intellectuals" program, with many activities that will last throughout March.
Being in the team supporting people using metro line 1, Truong Anh Ngoc (District 1) shared that it is a proud task and she is trying to complete it well.
At the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, a ceremony to admit new members took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30). Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education held a ceremony to admit new party members.
On this occasion, the school also signed a pedagogical internship program in Thanh An island commune (Can Gio district) for the period 2025-2027 and launched pedagogical internship in the 2024-2025 school year.
At the same time, the program implemented "Green Action" for the city's youth through the "HCM CITY GREEN" application and instructions for installing the "HCM City Digital Citizen" application.
Within the framework of the Youth Month 2025, many activities have taken place simultaneously in all districts and Thu Duc City. Some of these projects include: dredging the flow, renovating the landscape of the 19-5 canal; cycling to promote the prevention of plastic waste and installing environmental protection propaganda boards along the Saigon River...
