Expensive Ukrainian weapons turned into scrap metal by Russian firepower

In the Donetsk direction, the Russian Yug Group of Forces repelled four Ukrainian attacks near Zaliznyanskoye, Staromikhailovka and Krasnogorovka. The group also conducted successful attacks and improved the situation along the front line.

At least 55 Ukrainian soldiers, two armored fighting vehicles, three vehicles, one Akatsiya self-propelled gun and two D-30 towed guns were neutralized in this direction, the ministry said.

In the direction of south Donetsk, the Vostok Group of Forces’ air force and artillery targeted Ukrainian concentrations and positions near Priyutnoye, Staromayorskoye and Rovnopol. The ministry said that more than 175 Ukrainian soldiers were neutralized. Two tanks, three armored fighting vehicles, two motor vehicles, a D-20 towed howitzer and two Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers were also destroyed.

In the direction of Zaporozhye, an attack by the 46th Mobile Brigade (Ukraine) was repelled near Rabotino. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 195 soldiers, 4 US-made Stryker armored personnel carriers, 2 infantry fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, an American-made M777, a British-made FH-70, and 2 Msta-B and D-20 towed howitzers.

In the Kherson direction, Kiev forces lost up to 30 soldiers, 3 vehicles and a D-30 towed gun due to Russian army fire.
