Inauguration of the first thin film factory in Vietnam

The first thin film factory in Vietnam at Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial - Urban - Service Park, Van Canh district, was inaugurated on September 8.

The factory of Kurz Group (Federal Republic of Germany), covering an area of ​​12 hectares, phase one has a total investment of 40 million USD. This is the first high-tech FDI project to be built in Binh Dinh.

The project has a capacity of 15 million m2 of products per year. The main products of the factory are Luxor and Alufin films; decorative films/decals and hot stamping foils; semi-finished materials and lacquers for decorative films/decals and hot stamping foils, functional films and sensors; tools, related application machines and plastic parts... serving the automotive, electronics and printing industries.

According to Kurz Group representative, the new factory along with factories in Malaysia and China will increase the group's influence in the Asian region with high quality products.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said that this is the first industrial project to be inaugurated in the Becamex VISIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park. When the factory comes into operation, it promises to promote economic growth, sustainable development, diversify local industries and open up job opportunities for the people.

"Since being granted the investment certificate in November 2021, despite the negative impacts of the pandemic, the investor has focused resources, actively implemented procedures and made efforts to construct and build the project to ensure the proposed progress plan."

On the same day, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province also started construction of the road connecting National Highway 19 with Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, nearly 20 km long, with a total investment of VND 1,171 billion.
