(LĐ online) - The People's Committee of Lam Dong province has just issued a document requesting the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to report the results of inspection, guidance and State management of the activities of tourist areas and spots in the province.

Accordingly, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to complete the previously assigned tasks and report to the Provincial People's Committee before April 10. In case of detecting difficulties, problems or violations during the inspection, promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee for direction, do not wait until the end of the inspection period to report in general.

Previously, on January 8, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province issued a document assigning the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to review and inspect the operations of tourist areas, attractions, agricultural tourism, and cafes that charge entrance fees and take photos in Lam Dong province to guide businesses to comply with the provisions of law on investment, construction, registration and tourism business activities; declaration, price posting, fee collection and fulfillment of financial obligations to the State in accordance with regulations. For establishments that have been instructed but still violate regulations, they must be strictly handled according to regulations.

Currently, Lam Dong province has about 112 tourist areas, spots, and attractions. Of these, there is 1 national tourist area, 2 provincial tourist areas, and 15 tourist spots that have been recognized according to the provisions of the Law on Tourism, while 94 areas and spots have not been recognized.
