Expelled from the Party former Central Committee member Nguyen Van Vinh

The mid-term conference of the 13th Party Central Committee opened on the morning of May 15 and discussed many important issues, including personnel work.

According to a statement from the Party Central Committee Office, the Party Central Committee decided to expel from the Party Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Executive Committee, and former Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province.

Previously, on May 8, under the chairmanship of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Politburo and the Secretariat met to review and discipline a series of officials and party members who were former leaders of Lao Cai province, including Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, former member of the Central Committee and former Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.

Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; according to the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Politburo proposed that the Party Central Committee discipline Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh.
