On the evening of September 16, at Thuong Bac Park, Dong Ba Ward, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province, the opening ceremony of the Festival 2024 Trade Fair took place.
Attending the opening ceremony were the new Deputy Secretary of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee Pham Duc Tien; Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade.
According to the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support of Thua Thien Hue Province, this year's Fair will take place from September 16-22 with 227 booths from 231 organizations and enterprises. Products participating in the Fair include specialties, OCOP products, handicrafts, souvenirs and gifts; agricultural, forestry, aquatic and seafood products, processed foods, textiles, leather shoes, accessories, etc.

The fair is divided into 3 display areas. Area 1 displays and introduces the potential and strengths of provinces and cities across the country and international booths; Area 2 displays and introduces OCOP products, agricultural products, and specialties of localities across the country; Area 3 displays and trades general services.
According to the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support of Thua Thien Hue Province, this Fair is one of the response activities to diversify Hue Festival 2024; is an activity under the National Program on Trade Promotion 2024 to promote trade activities between localities and businesses in the Central Highlands - Central region in particular and the whole country in general.
In order to support and share the difficulties and losses with the people of the Northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 and floods caused by storm circulation, at this Fair, the organizing committee will combine to organize volunteer activities to replace the cultural and entertainment activities during the Fair.
It is known that within the framework of the Fair, a Conference on connecting supply and demand between Thua Thien Hue province and other provinces and cities in 2024 will take place on the afternoon of September 17.
