On the morning of October 12, at the special national relic Keo Pagoda (Duy Nhat commune), the People's Committee of Vu Thu district organized the opening ceremony of the fair to introduce OCOP products, key products; the cake and cuisine festival of Vu Thu district in 2024. Comrades: Dang Thanh Giang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments and branches of the province and Vu Thu district attended the opening ceremony.

The fair introducing OCOP products, key products of Vu Thu district this year took place from October 12 to 19 (ie from September 10 to 17, the year of the Dragon). The fair attracted nearly 100 booths displaying, introducing, and selling OCOP products and key products, typical characteristics of Vu Thu district and localities, businesses inside and outside the province. The system of items and product types participating in the fair is diverse and rich, bearing the unique characteristics of each region, area, and locality. Notably, during the 8 days of the fair, in addition to the OCOP booths, the district also organized a cake and food festival, with 32 booths, food spaces, selling more than 100 traditional dishes, specialties of Thai Binh and other regions in the country.

Through the fair, the aim is to promote, introduce and honor OCOP products and typical products of the district and localities, businesses inside and outside the province, create a close connection between production and consumption of products, enhance trade promotion, stimulate consumption; at the same time, attract and improve service quality, serve people and tourists from all over the country when they come to worship, visit and travel during the Keo Pagoda festival this autumn.
