The Japanese organizing committee celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Vietnam diplomatic relations has just launched a new initiative called "Japan-Vietnam Street Food Harmony" to connect the culinary cultures of the two countries.
“Japan-Vietnam Street Food Harmony” is part of a series of projects celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Vietnam diplomatic relations.
In this project, each of the 3 Japanese and Vietnamese chefs will introduce 2 new dishes with Japanese-Vietnamese fusion flavors created by themselves.
The organizers publicly posted on the website https://jp-culinaryfes.vn the recipes for all 6 original dishes, which were created by 3 chefs combining traditional Japanese and Vietnamese cooking methods and ingredients, and then started voting.
Among them, the 3 dishes that receive the most votes will be served at the Japanese Festival held in Hanoi in November.
In addition, during mid-November, the Organizing Committee will also give away free e-books of recipes for all six of these dishes.
