The England midfielder has enjoyed an excellent half-season at the Bernabeu, after moving from Dortmund to Real Madrid in the summer of 2023. Jude Bellingham currently has 17 goals from 21 games played in all competitions for the White Vultures.
The 20-year-old star is leading the scoring list in La Liga, with 13 goals, which is unbelievable for a midfielder!
Bellingham even broke Ronaldo's record for goals scored in his first 15 games for Real Madrid.
According to the International Centre for Football Studies (CIES), Jude Bellingham is now the most valuable player in the world, with his price tag skyrocketing in recent months.
Specifically, the England star is valued by this organization at 267.5 million Euros, which is more than twice the amount Real Madrid spent to buy Bellingham from Dortmund in the summer of 2023 - 103 million Euros.
The person ranked second after Jude Bellingham is Erling Haaland - a former teammate at Dortmund and currently playing for Man City, valued at 251.2 million Euros.
Real Madrid boast the most valuable stars in the top 5, with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo in third (€250.3m) and fourth (€247.9m) respectively. The remaining fifth place belongs to Saka (Arsenal), valued at €223m.
Positions from 6th to 10th are: Phil Foden (195.8 million Euros, Man City), Gavi (175.4 million Euros, Barca), Julian Alvarez (164.7 million Euros, Man City), Jamal Musiala (152.4 million Euros, Bayern Munich), Martin Odegaard (150.6 million Euros, Arsenal).
It can be seen that the notable absence in the top is Kylian Mbappe (PSG). Because the 25-year-old striker is entering the final months of his contract, his future is unclear, so his value has dropped sharply, down to 27th place.
Also according to CIES, compared to the valuable reputation in June 2023, the number of players with a transfer value exceeding 100 million Euros has nearly doubled, from 20 to 39, showing the "virtual" nature of the shopping market, especially in the summer of 2023.
