The 6th Central and Central Highlands Informatics Olympiad went through 2 rounds, the preliminary round and the semi-final round in the form of online exams with 2,848 students from 400 Specialized High Schools, High Schools, Middle Schools and Primary Schools from 63 provinces/cities nationwide.
Based on the results of the exams, the Organizing Committee and the Jury selected 775 excellent candidates to participate in the final round, including 30 teams (120 candidates) of the AI Challenge group, 180 candidates of the Super Cup group, 170 candidates of the Information Technology group and 305 candidates of the Non-Information Technology group.

This year's competition, in addition to the traditional competition boards (Super Cup, IT Specialist and Non-IT Specialist), the Organizing Committee has added the AI Challenge Board organized in the form of a hackathon, for all students participating in the competition, with competition content related to Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision (CV) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Students register to participate in teams and each team includes a maximum of 4 members.
In the final round, 775 candidates took the exam directly with the content and questions following the standards of the National and International Excellent Student exams in Information Technology.

All exam questions for all 4 categories: AI Challenge, Super Cup, IT Professional and Non-professional are guaranteed to be of high quality, reliable, and secure, and are created by the Exam Question Board consisting of prestigious experts nominated by the Vietnam Association of Information Technology and ICPC Vietnam.
The total prize money of the 6th Central and Central Highlands Informatics Olympiad in 2025 awarded to excellent students who won prizes is 110,000,000 VND and many internships and practical training in Korea for high-achieving candidates admitted to VKU.
In addition, candidates who win First, Second and Third prizes will be given priority for direct admission to University as well as enjoy other benefits according to the direct admission regulations of Vietnam - Korea University of Information Technology and Communications, University of Danang.

In parallel with the 6th Central Highlands Informatics Olympiad Final Round in 2025, on March 22 and 23, VKU organized and welcomed nearly 4,000 students from high schools in Da Nang city and provinces and cities in the region to participate in the "VKU Campus Tour 2025" Experience.
Participating in the program, students will visit and experience the learning environment, research, innovation, learn and receive career counseling, and live in real life with VKU students.
