Speaking at the opening ceremony and directing the Sports Festival, comrade Nguyen Huy Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, said that in the exciting atmosphere, celebrating the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Procuracy (July 26, 1960 - July 26, 2023), today, in the beautiful and hospitable city of Da Nang, the People's Procuracy solemnly organized the opening ceremony of the 12th People's Procuracy Sports Festival "Law Protection Newspaper Cup".
Following 11 successful Sports Festivals, this Sports Festival with the participation of 66 delegations with more than 700 athletes competing in 5 events is a very practical activity, aiming to improve physical fitness and health following the example of great Uncle Ho.
At the same time, this is also an opportunity for officials and civil servants of the People's Procuracy to exchange, learn and share experiences between localities and units, contributing to creating motivation to successfully complete the political tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.

Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Huy Tien added that in order for the Sports Festival to be held this year, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy assigned the Law Protection Newspaper, the High-level People's Procuracy in Da Nang, and the City People's Procuracy to closely coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and sectors of the city to prepare competition facilities with the highest determination and the best conditions.
Through this Sports Festival, Comrade Nguyen Huy Tien, Permanent Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, hopes that leaders of units in the Procuracy sector will continue to pay attention and create more favorable conditions for athletes to practice sports, improve their health and successfully complete their assigned tasks.
At the same time, the Law Protection Newspaper needs to continue to coordinate with units inside and outside the Procuracy sector, promote the spirit and good results of the 12 Sports Festivals, to maintain the organization of the Sports Festival each year better than the previous year, becoming a competitive movement in the Procuracy sector.

The closing ceremony and award ceremony will be held tomorrow afternoon (July 8) at Tien Son Sports Palace (Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City).
