Besides, there are places to introduce and promote cultural values, places to experience for tourists when coming to participate in festivals in Quang Tri.

However, the relics and cultural institutions are currently in disrepair and have not yet achieved the aesthetic quality to organize the major activities of the festival. Therefore, in order to create a new look for the relics and cultural institutions to promptly meet the needs of serving the important events of the Festival for Peace as well as building the image of Quang Tri to tourists, the People's Committee of Tinh has directed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to conduct a survey and propose the renovation of a number of construction items in the province. The total investment of the 5 projects to renovate relics and cultural institutions is more than 6 billion VND.

Concluding the meeting, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council Ho Thi Thu Hang agreed on the need to invest in 5 projects to renovate relics and cultural institutions to serve the organization of the Festival for Peace, creating a good impression on tourists when coming to Quang Tri province to experience the values of peace.

At the same time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is requested to carefully review project items to ensure practical effectiveness in terms of economy, culture and tourism, and avoid wasting investment resources.

Ensure that the renovation project items at the two special national monuments of Hien Luong - Ben Hai and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel do not overlap with the project invested by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and will be implemented by the end of 2024.

There are good and creative solutions and methods to promote the value of cultural relics and institutions after investment to attract tourists, promote service development, contribute to creating jobs and livelihoods for people to participate in exploiting and benefiting from cultural heritages.

Through organizing the Festival for Peace, we have created a unique tourism product that attracts tourists to Quang Tri, gradually turning tourism into a key economic sector of the locality.
