Introducing the glorious history of Lam Dong army and people

The exhibition introduces a historical period of the army and people of Lam Dong province in the resistance war against American imperialism and 50 years of peaceful development, as one of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025.

The exhibition attracted many participants.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Director of Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the exhibition displays and introduces more than 200 images, artifacts, literary and artistic works. The contents of the exhibition include: "Lam Dong army and people in the resistance war against the US in the period of 1966-1975; Lam Dong - 50 years of peace and development and literary and artistic achievements of Lam Dong province after the country's reunification".

The sub-topics displayed at the exhibition include: “The struggle movement of the Army and people of Lam Dong from 1966 - 1974”; “Lam Dong - the historic April days” and Lam Dong building economy, society, and protecting national security and defense in the years 1975 - 1985.

Through the exhibition, the aim is to introduce the glorious history of the army and people of Lam Dong province, contributing to the cause of national independence, liberation of the homeland, the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Thereby, the province promotes the widespread dissemination of the nation's historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions; educates political ideology; strongly arouses the spirit of patriotism, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-reliance, national pride, the desire to contribute and the strength of great national unity in the cause of national renewal and international integration.

At the exhibition, viewers are introduced to many valuable images and artifacts that are deeply imbued with the history of the locality. These are the images of "Da Lat students gathering to protest on Phan Dinh Phung Street in 1966"; "The scene of destruction at Cam Ly airport when it was attacked by our army in 1969"; "The local guerrilla teams of Da Lat, Lac Duong, Phu Son newly established in 1975"... Along with images and artifacts about the development process of Lam Dong province in the 5 years since April 30, 1975...

Hundreds of Lam Dong literary and artistic works are displayed at the Exhibition.

The exhibition runs from March 25 to April 25.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee informed that to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day, the province will organize a meeting with Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the Armed Forces, people with meritorious services and revolutionary veterans; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Lam Dong - Da Lat (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025) with a welcoming art program at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat city). Along with that, there will be a provincial-level seminar "50 years of a journey - Lam Dong from a difficult locality to a fairly developed province" associated with the display of OCOP products; the art program "Unified Country" at Lam Vien Square on the evening of April 30 and a number of other programs...
