Speaking at the workshop, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training Vu Thi Hanh said: Implementing Directive No. 20-CT/TW, dated January 18, 2018 of the Central Party Secretariat "On continuing to strengthen and improve the quality of research, compilation, propaganda and education of Party history" and Conclusion No. 515-KL/ĐUK, dated January 17, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies on continuing to implement Directive No. 20-CT/TW, dated January 18, 2018 of the Central Party Secretariat, based on the actual situation and existing sources of documents on the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry decided to collect, research and compile the book "History of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, period 1990-2020".
In the spirit of objectivity and honesty, the book needs to be compiled scientifically according to the historical events taking place at the Party Committee of the Ministry, in order to pay tribute to the previous generations who have contributed to the process of building and developing the Ministry, the Party Committee of the Ministry in particular and the country in general.
The book will create great spiritual motivation to encourage cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees in carrying out the political tasks of the Ministry in the new period, especially in the current context of "Fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration".

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training Vu Thi Hanh spoke at the workshop
During the process of compiling the Party History book, up to now, the Standing Committee has organized a workshop to solicit comments from former leaders of the Party Committee of the Ministry, scientists and affiliated party organizations on the draft outline of the Party History book and to solicit comments on the first and second drafts. The Standing Committee has directed the Drafting Committee and the Editorial Board to research, discuss thoroughly and absorb as much as possible and edit and supplement to perfect the draft in both structure and content.
Reporting on the process of compiling the History of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, period 1990-2020, Ms. Duong Thanh Huong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, representative of the Editorial Board, said: The Editorial Board has received support from the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry, generations of leaders of the Party Committee of the Ministry, former comrades who were in charge of Party work of the Party Committee and the responsibility of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training for the term 2020-2025. However, in the context of limited resources, the Editorial Board still faces many difficulties.
Up to now, after receiving comments, the draft book has been completed with a structure of 4 parts: Introduction, content, conclusion and appendix. In which, the introduction summarizes the formation and operation process of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training from its establishment until 1990. The content consists of 3 chapters, outlining the process of leading the innovation of education and training through the stages, from 1990-2020. The conclusion summarizes the formation and development process of the Party Committee through the periods; summarizes the important achievements and contributions of the Party Committee through the periods and summarizes some historical experiences.

Ms. Duong Thanh Huong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, representing the Editorial Board, reported at the workshop.
At the workshop, delegates shared and commented on the content that needs to be edited and supplemented to improve the quality of the book "History of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, period 1990-2020".
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Manh Hung, Former Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, thanked the Drafting Committee for a well-prepared product, in a difficult context, demonstrating the mark of the Ministry of Education and Training in leadership and direction; with the goal of summarizing practices, recreating a picture of a 30-year historical period, and at the same time drawing lessons.
Dr. Nguyen Vinh Hien, former Deputy Minister of Education and Training, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, suggested that there should be good coordination regulations between the Party Executive Committee and the Party Committee of the Ministry, and at the same time, there should be prominent depictions of the tasks of the Ministry of Education and Training through each term.
